  We had the €4.99 lunch... sausage, mash n beans ... husband said could have done with more beans - but he is a big eater !!... and liver, onions,bacon, mash n peas for me. We were more than happy for the price especially as the ( pint ! ) beer n wine were only €1 50 each.

  After seeing SAMS on the tv decided to give it a go, found it did not live up to expectations, had what was described as the best Sunday lunch in the area, got to say NO it wasn't !!! My husband had pork and found it tough, my chicken was nice, but nothing special, Yorkshire puddings over done , bordering on burnt !!! Veg and gravy nice. Then we came to dessert, we had what was described as a mint mousse on biscuit with chocolate topping !!! Well the mousse was still frozen in place !!! When it came to paying it took us a long time to catch a waitresses eye as she was busy chatting !!! We pointed out to her the dessert still frozen , she said we should have allowed it time to thaw !!!! NO you shouldn't have served it still frozen and at 4€ a pudding it not the cheapest !!! Think we will stick to the Spanish menu del Dias , for better quality and much better service
